# I Tried Supergrow vs Taplio: Features, Pricing, Cons, Which Is Better (2026)?

> Taplio does more. Supergrow is a third of the price and the only one that's ToS-safe. Both make you sound like AI slop.

**By Aitijya Sarkar** - Published 2026-07-21 - Updated 2026-08-11 - 11 min read

I've spent close to six years ghostwriting LinkedIn content for 50 to 60 founders, coaches, and CXOs across pretty much every B2B niche there is — north of 100 million organic views between them. Which means I've run tools like these across dozens of real client accounts, Supergrow and Taplio included. Both are ones I've paid for.

So, between them: Taplio is the better overall LinkedIn tool in 2026 if you want it all.

It does more than Supergrow — a 5-million-post inspiration library, a lightweight CRM, outbound, and richer analytics bundled into one platform, which is why most people use it. But Supergrow wins on the 2 things that matter most for solo creators: its 1/3rd cost for the AI content, and it's the only one of the two that's ToS-safe. Supergrow publishes through LinkedIn's official APIs; Taplio uses a Chrome extension that got Taplio itself banned from LinkedIn. It's a close, heavily caveated call — if price and account safety are your priority, Supergrow is the better buy, and Taplio only pulls ahead overall because breadth is the one axis it dominates. But neither one remembers who you are between sessions or looks anything up before drafting, so both make you sound like AI slop.

For posts grounded in your unique POV and voice, I recommend Oiti, the AI clone for LinkedIn content.

## Supergrow vs Taplio at a glance

| | Supergrow | Taplio | Oiti — AI clone for LinkedIn content (my pick) |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Best for | A cheap, ToS-safe AI writer + carousel maker + scheduler | All-in-one content + outbound + CRM + inspiration library | Anyone who wants posts grounded in their own POV and voice |
| Starting price | $19/mo Starter - $39/mo Pro | $39/mo Starter (no AI writing) - $69/mo Growth (AI) - $199/mo Pro | $49/mo Creator - $79/mo Pro |
| Real price for AI writing | $19/mo | $69/mo — the $39 Starter ships zero AI | $49 / $79 |
| Free trial | 7-day on every plan | 7-day, full app access | 7-day |
| LinkedIn's terms of service | Safe — official LinkedIn APIs, no extension | At risk — Chrome-extension automation; Taplio is banned from LinkedIn | Safe — official LinkedIn Marketing APIs |
| Standout strength | Carousel maker + clean UI + safe multi-account scheduling | 5M-post inspiration library + outbound/CRM breadth | Long-term memory + Knowledge Base + safe analytics + scheduling |
| Biggest weakness | Generic writing, thin analytics | Generic writing, account-flag risk, overpriced for content alone | Newer; LinkedIn-first by design |
| Overall winner | — | ✓ (does more) | — (parallel pick, not the referee) |

Prices captured May 2026: Supergrow $19 Starter / $39 Pro per month with a Teams tier above that, 7-day trial on all plans, yearly billing "Save 20%"; Taplio $39 Starter / $69 Growth / $199 Pro per month, 7-day full-access trial, yearly "-25%." Supergrow wins the price row and the terms-of-service row. Taplio's overall ✓ rests on breadth, and only breadth.

## How I tested Supergrow v/s Taplio - my testing methodology

I've paid for and used both on real client work.

Taplio: I was a paid user back in 2021, for about two months, when it was one of the only real tools going and I was growing my own account. I logged back in this year and found almost nothing had changed. Supergrow: I first knew them around 2023, on a lifetime deal while I was still ghostwriting — took the trial then and ran it on live client work — and I signed up and tried it again this year to retest it for this piece.

The four axes that actually separate these two — I weigh real cost and account safety highest, because those are the two that hurt the most if you get them wrong:

1. **Real cost of the AI content** — What you actually pay to write with AI once you're past the marketed entry price.
2. **Output quality** — Does the content sound like a person, or templated AI slop?
3. **All-in-one breadth & analytics** — How much one subscription really covers, and whether you can see what's working.
4. **LinkedIn safety** — Official APIs, or a Chrome extension that can get your account banned?

## What is Supergrow - and how does it turn expertise into influence on LinkedIn?

Supergrow's pitch is "Turn expertise into influence on LinkedIn," and the homepage splits you into two doors right away: "Grow on LinkedIn" if you're a professional building a personal brand, or "Activate my team" if you're a marketing or comms team running several people. When I jumped in, it was three things done in one clean tab: an AI post generator, a LinkedIn-native carousel maker (the feature I found most worth paying for), and safe scheduling through LinkedIn's official APIs. It's not a growth platform — there's no outbound and no CRM. The multi-account and team side (workspaces, a calendar, a Kanban queue) is the well-built half; the solo writing half is thinner.

![Supergrow homepage headlined "Turn expertise into influence on LinkedIn," with a "Grow on LinkedIn" door for professionals and an "Activate my team" door for marketing/comms teams, and a 4.9/5 on G2 badge.](/comparisons/competitors/supergrow/homepage.webp) — Supergrow's homepage — "Turn expertise into influence on LinkedIn," splitting into "Grow on LinkedIn" vs "Activate my team."

Built by indie hackers, Supergrow worked hard to build LinkedIn-compliant scheduling and multi-tenancy. You get workflows for teams and clean, safe publishing and analytics on LinkedIn's official APIs — but the content it writes is still AI slop.

## What is Taplio - and how does it help you grow on LinkedIn in 10 min/day?

Taplio is the best-known all-in-one LinkedIn growth platform — built by the TweetHunter team, acquired by Lemlist. When you pay for Taplio you get:

1. a 5-million-post viral inspiration library,
2. a content scheduler,
3. analytics,
4. AI writing,
5. a hacky lightweight CRM (Contacts and Database), and
6. an outbound and engagement suite driven by the "Taplio X" Chrome extension.

My first instinct once I jumped in: it's trying to do too much at once. And more importantly — why is it forcing me to install a Chrome extension? Will I get banned?

![Taplio homepage headlined "Turn LinkedIn into your #1 client channel. From content to network, one platform," with feature strips for AI trained on 50M+ viral posts, auto-engage with leads and auto-reply to comments, and one workflow / one tool.](/comparisons/competitors/taplio/homepage.webp) — Taplio's homepage — "Turn LinkedIn into your #1 client channel. From content to network, one platform."

Back when I was doing LinkedIn ghostwriting, Taplio was the best LinkedIn content tool from 2021 to 2023, when it was one of the only ones. But when I logged back in this year, I found they'd just bolted AI onto their old codebase and it shows — it's trying to do too much at once, and the Chrome extension and outbound stuff they've added are a serious account risk that can get you banned.

Now on to testing both platforms: Supergrow v/s Taplio — which is best re: pricing, content, writing, analytics, LinkedIn's terms of service risk, and scheduling? Starting with pricing....

Which one gives you the best value for money? Let's jump in.

## 1. Supergrow v/s Taplio pricing: what's the best value for money?

Supergrow wins this one hands down.

Here's why: I jumped into Taplio's lowest paid tier expecting the AI content to come with it — turns out that wasn't in the plan. Taplio's $39 Starter, priced the same as Supergrow's Pro, doesn't include AI writing/content — you only get scheduling, analytics, and their inspiration library. So you don't really get to write viral posts with AI until you subscribe to the $69/month Growth plan, and the outbound and lead suite is $199 Pro.

![Taplio pricing page "Your LinkedIn growth starts now" with a Monthly/Yearly −25% toggle: Starter $39/mo (schedule posts, track core metrics, build posting consistency — no AI), Growth $69/mo marked TOP CHOICE (everything in Starter plus write viral posts with AI and reply/comment 10x faster), Pro $199/mo (unlimited AI posts and comments, automate lead outreach).](/comparisons/competitors/taplio/pricing.webp) — Taplio's pricing — Starter $39, Growth $69 (TOP CHOICE, the first tier with AI writing), Pro $199.

For the AI content itself, Supergrow costs $19 a month on Starter or $39 on Pro (marked "Most Popular"). So writer to writer, it's $19 against $69 — Supergrow is roughly a third of the cost for the thing most people are actually buying.

![Supergrow pricing "Turn expertise into influence. At any scale." with an Individuals/Teams toggle and a Monthly/Yearly Save 20% toggle: Starter $19/mo "For creators getting started" and Pro $39/mo "Most Popular," each with a Start 7-day free trial button.](/comparisons/competitors/supergrow/pricing.webp) — Supergrow's pricing — Starter $19, Pro $39 (Most Popular), 7-day free trial on each.

Both have a 7-day free trial — Supergrow on all plans, Taplio with full app access, whichever plan you pick. Supergrow's yearly billing helps you save 20%, Taplio helps you save 25%. At the top end, Supergrow's Teams tier ($139) and Taplio's $199 Pro sit in different price ranges and buy different things — team scheduling versus outbound and CRM.

Here's Paweł, from G2, on Taplio's price against what it delivers:

> "There's a learning curve and some features feel less accurate than advertised. Also, the pricing is not the most competitive."
> — [Paweł M., Co-Founder & CEO — G2, 2.5/5, Aug 2024](https://www.g2.com/products/taplio/reviews)

![G2 review by Paweł M. (Co-Founder & CEO), 2.5/5 — notes a learning curve, features that feel less accurate than advertised, and that Taplio's pricing is not the most competitive.](/comparisons/competitors/taplio/reviews/g2-negative-1.webp) — Paweł M. on G2 — 2.5/5, Aug 2024

**Winner:** Supergrow. A third of the price, with nothing important locked behind a higher tier. (For reference, Oiti, the AI clone for LinkedIn content, sits at $49 Creator / $79 Pro — more than Supergrow, but every draft is grounded in your own POV instead of a template.)

## 2. Taplio v/s Supergrow's content - which tool's AI content is better in 2026?

In my tests, neither tool won the content part outright: both produce content that sounds "right" but lacks "soul" — your same old templated AI slop that LinkedIn's aggressively penalising.

But what they're good at is different halves of the same job.

Taplio's edge is ideation. The 5-million-post inspiration library is still the best blank-page cure in the category — I'd search a topic, find posts that went viral, edit, and post. The catch is that "viral" in the library means a post worked for someone else's audience, and copying the format doesn't mean it lands for yours. And the generator itself is a menu: "Create a post about a topic," "Create a controversial post about a topic," "Create a 'top mistakes' post about a topic," and so on down the list.

![Taplio's Inspiration tab, "Search for any topic and find viral posts," a grid of viral LinkedIn posts each with an Edit & post button, and a left nav running Dashboard, Inspiration, Drafts, Post schedule, Analytics, Engage, Contacts, Saved posts, AI tools, Database, Outreach.](/comparisons/competitors/taplio/product-screenshots/taplio-inspiration-tab.webp) — Taplio's Inspiration tab — search a topic, get a grid of viral posts to edit and reuse.

![Taplio's "Create posts from scratch" menu: a list of templated actions — Create a post about a topic, Create a controversial post about a topic, Create a "top mistakes" post about a topic, Create a "daily routine" post about a topic, Create a "how to start" post about a topic, and more.](/comparisons/competitors/taplio/product-screenshots/taplio-create-posts-options.webp) — Taplio's "Create posts from scratch" — a menu of templated post actions.

Supergrow's edge is actually making the posts.

Its LinkedIn-native carousel maker turned a post into a five-slide deck in about a minute, and it's the feature I'd keep paying for — though LinkedIn isn't especially rewarding carousels anymore. The composer is cleaner and faster than Taplio's, and you can add voice notes. But the writing is preset-driven the same way Taplio's is: the "Select Post Format" rack drops you into fill-in-the-blanks scaffolds with literal {Topic} and {Title of Myth} placeholders.

![Supergrow's "Select Post Format" modal: category chips (Learning Insights, Achievements & Milestones, Practical Tips, Debunking Myths, Tool Recommendations, Expert Advice, and more) and a "Busting 5 Common Myths About {Topic}" template filled with {Title of Myth} placeholder fields.](/comparisons/competitors/supergrow/product-screenshots/supergrow-post-templates.webp) — Supergrow's "Select Post Format" rack — fill-in-the-blank scaffolds with {Topic} and {Title of Myth} placeholders.

Put the two screenshots side by side and it's the same story: both make you sound like everyone else. As time went on, Supergrow's hook patterns started repeating across unrelated topics after a couple of weeks, and Taplio's chatbot — the one thing they've added since I last paid — reads like ChatGPT with a LinkedIn system prompt strapped on. Neither models who you are, what you believe in, what your industry POVs are, so the words sound like they could have come from anyone.

**Winner:** split — Taplio for ideation, Supergrow for actually making the posts, and neither for originality.

**Oiti — Where Oiti is different:** This is the exact gap Oiti, the AI clone for LinkedIn content, is built to close: it grounds each draft in your past posts, what you believe, and your ICP's live pain points instead of a preset.

![Oiti's writing-style clone — a "Style Fingerprint" distilled from 50 of a creator's analyzed LinkedIn posts, naming their patterns (the "Stop" command, the "But" pivot, the "Meanwhile" contrast), with a "Use this style" button.](/comparisons/competitors/oiti/product-screenshots/writing-styles.webp) — Oiti's writing-style clone — a Style Fingerprint pulled from 50 of your own posts, not a preset.

## 3. Supergrow v/s Taplio features & breadth: which tool does more?

Now, does all that breadth actually make Taplio the better buy? Here's what each tool gives you beyond the writing.

Taplio gives you a lot for one subscription. Beyond content, you get Engage for comment automation, Contacts and Database for a lightweight CRM, Outreach for outbound DMs, deeper analytics, and even scheduling. But none of it is safe — the automation can get your account banned. Supergrow has a lot of the same features plus carousels and safe scheduling.

![Taplio modal "Supercharge Your LinkedIn Journey with our extension!" urging you to install the Chrome extension to "unlock Taplio's full power," with Taplio X analytics cards (followers, impressions, engagements) shown alongside.](/comparisons/competitors/taplio/product-screenshots/taplio-extension-install-prompt.webp) — Taplio pushes you to install its Chrome extension to "unlock full power" — the same extension that rides on your LinkedIn cookies.

Supergrow's multi-account scheduling is the well-built half of the product.

Isolated workspaces, a week-and-month calendar with time-slot settings, a Kanban queue, all publishing on official APIs. If you want to make sure you're not banned — Supergrow's the clear choice.

![Supergrow's Calendar scheduler in a week view (October 2025, Week 44), 9:00 AM time slots marked Empty across each day, a Week/Month toggle, and a Time Slot Settings control.](/comparisons/competitors/supergrow/product-screenshots/supergrow-scheduling-view.webp) — Supergrow's Calendar — week view with per-day time slots, publishing on LinkedIn's official APIs.

**Winner:** Taplio does more. A whole platform against a focused, safer writer-scheduler.

Breadth is one thing — but the numbers you get back matter too.

So which one actually shows you what's working?

## 4. Supergrow v/s Taplio analytics: which gives you better data?

This is the flip side of Supergrow's simplicity: the analytics are thin, and its own reviewers ding them. You can schedule cleanly, but seeing performance over time and your best-performing posts isn't really there yet. Rohan, on G2:

> "The analytics side of things is something that I think could do some improvements... being able to see performance over time, best performing posts."
> — [Rohan K., Statistician (Customer Success), Small-Business — G2, 4/5, Mar 2026](https://www.g2.com/products/supergrow/reviews)

![G2 review by Rohan K. (Statistician, Customer Success; Small-Business), 4/5, titled "Streamlined Post Scheduling With Some Analytics Challenges" — praises the calendar scheduling and engagement features, dislikes that the analytics can't yet show performance over time or best-performing posts.](/comparisons/competitors/supergrow/reviews/g2-rohan.webp) — Rohan K. on G2 — 4/5, Mar 16 2026.

Taplio's analytics go deeper — tracking performance over time is one of the places its all-in-one bet actually pays off.

**Winner:** Taplio — richer data, if you can live with how it fetches that data. Which is exactly what should decide this for most people.

**Oiti — The one that does both:** Here's what neither of them manages: Supergrow keeps you safe but the analytics stay thin, and Taplio's go deep but ride the extension that gets accounts banned. Oiti is the only one of the three that gives you both — performance over time and your best-performing posts, pulled over LinkedIn's official API, with no extension anywhere near your account.

![Oiti's Analytics dashboard — total impressions 484K, reach 109K, and 15.4K followers, plus posts published, net followers gained, and average engagement rate charted over twelve months, noted as refreshing automatically every Monday.](/comparisons/competitors/oiti/product-screenshots/analytics-dashboard.webp) — Oiti's Analytics — impressions, reach, followers, and engagement over 12 months, pulled over LinkedIn's official API.

## 5. Supergrow v/s Taplio and LinkedIn's terms of service: which is actually safe?

Supergrow publishes through LinkedIn's official, approved APIs.

No Chrome extension, no cookie-hooking, nothing that can get an account flagged. Taplio's outbound, engagement, and analytics-fetch all run through the "Taplio X" Chrome extension, using your LinkedIn cookies to automate on your behalf — squarely against LinkedIn's terms of service.

A client of mine used Taplio before they came to me, and their LinkedIn account got flagged and restricted for the extension activity — I heard about it firsthand: "I was using Taplio before this. They got my account restricted." Shield Analytics was shut down in May 2026 over the same class of cookie-based access. And Taplio itself is now banned from LinkedIn — its own company and CEO accounts got hit.

This is a real worry, as you can see from this Reddit thread about a YC founder who used Taplio:

![Reddit r/ProductivityApps thread by astrongsperm, "LinkedIn Account get shadowbanned bc of using Taplio": a friend and YC founder used Taplio to push engagement past 100,000 impressions, then LinkedIn banned Taplio — the CEO's and company's accounts permanently — and the friend's posts now hover around 1,000 impressions.](/comparisons/competitors/taplio/reviews/reddit-shadowban.webp) — The r/ProductivityApps thread on Taplio's LinkedIn ban.

100,000-plus impressions down to about 1,000 after LinkedIn banned them. Supergrow doesn't have this problem at all.

**Winner:** Supergrow, decisively.

If you don't have LinkedIn Premium or Sales Navigator to absorb that risk, I wouldn't use Taplio at all.

Worth knowing: Oiti, the AI clone for LinkedIn content, runs its scheduling and analytics on the same official LinkedIn APIs Supergrow does — safe by design, no extension, with deeper analytics versus Supergrow. [Try Oiti free for 7 days](/).

## Which should you pick — Supergrow or Taplio?

**Pick Supergrow if** you want a cheap ($19), ToS-safe AI writer plus carousel maker plus scheduler for one or a few accounts, and you'll never touch outbound (or just use Heyreach for that, its 10X better anyway). It's the safer, cheaper tool, and the carousel maker is a real time-saver. For most individual creators, this is the head-to-head winner on the things that actually matter — price and safety.

**Pick Supergrow if** your job is safe scheduling across multiple accounts — its workspaces, Kanban queue, and official-API publishing are the well-built half of the product and a real backbone for running several profiles or a company page. (If you want that same multi-account scheduling with a writing layer that holds your POV, [Oiti Pro](/) at $79 covers three personal profiles plus ten company pages on official APIs.)

**Pick Taplio if** you actually run content and outbound and comment automation together, want the 5-million-post inspiration library, and have LinkedIn Premium or Sales Navigator to absorb the account-flag risk. That's the widest toolkit in the category, and if you use all of it, Taplio earns the money. Most readers aren't running all three.

**Pick neither if** what you actually want is posts grounded in your own POV and voice. For that, you need an AI clone for LinkedIn content.

## When neither Supergrow nor Taplio is the answer - try Oiti, the AI Clone for LinkedIn content

Both tools write LinkedIn posts.

Neither remembers who you are between sessions, and neither looks anything up before drafting — so both fall back on the same templated {Topic} format pickers, and the output reads generic. Supergrow's personalization stops at a preset and a content-style setting; across posts, the feedback I gave it didn't carry over. Taplio's chatbot is a thin wrapper on a pre-AI codebase, with no built-in web search and no persona layer underneath.

That's the exact gap Oiti, the [AI clone for LinkedIn content](/use-cases/ai-ghostwriter-for-linkedin), was built to close.

Every time you write, Oiti fires parallel fetches across your long-term memory and Knowledge Base — working out who you are, what you believe, and the way you actually talk before a word hits the page.

![Oiti's chat on the left interviewing the author for their real story before writing, with the finished LinkedIn draft shown on the right.](/comparisons/competitors/oiti/product-screenshots/content-creation-flow.webp) — Oiti drafting a post in chat — it asks for your real story first, then writes it the way you actually talk.

The Knowledge Base ingests your past posts, PDFs, and YouTube videos, and researches your ICP's pain points on the live web.

![Oiti's Knowledge Base — a searchable table of 22 saved LinkedIn sources marked "Ready," with "Sync LinkedIn Posts" and "Add Material" buttons, under the line "Everything added here will be used as reference material by Oiti to ideate and create content."](/comparisons/competitors/oiti/product-screenshots/knowledge-base.webp) — Oiti's Knowledge Base — your posts, PDFs, and videos become reference material it pulls before it drafts.

![An Oiti-written draft grounded in live web research — sections on prices, affordability, first-time buyers, mortgage rates and inventory, each statistic underlined with an inline source chip (realtor.com, redfin.com, nahb.org, prnewswire.com).](/comparisons/competitors/oiti/product-screenshots/inline-citations.webp) — Researched on the open web — each stat in the draft carries an inline source, not a guess.

The long-term memory absorbs every "no, don't open with 'I'" and "stop using 'unlock'," so the system gets more like you over time instead of resetting each session. And it publishes and reports on the same official LinkedIn APIs Supergrow uses — safe scheduling and analytics, no extension.

That last line is where it quietly beats both of them. Supergrow is safe but shallow on the data; Taplio measures deeply but pulls those numbers through the same extension that gets accounts banned. Oiti is the only one that does deep analytics and safe scheduling together, because it reads and publishes through the official API instead of borrowing your LinkedIn cookies.

![Oiti's Analytics dashboard — total impressions 484K, reach 109K, and 15.4K followers, with posts published, net followers gained, and average engagement rate charted over twelve months.](/comparisons/competitors/oiti/product-screenshots/analytics-dashboard.webp) — Deep analytics on the official API — performance over time and your best posts, no extension.

![Oiti's Calendar in month view (May 2026, 8 events) with scheduled posts sitting on several days and a persona / status filter bar above the grid.](/comparisons/competitors/oiti/product-screenshots/full-feature-scheduling-calendar.webp) — Oiti's Calendar — schedule across profiles on LinkedIn's official API, the same safe rails Supergrow runs on.

If you just need the cheapest ToS-safe scheduler and carousel maker and you don't care whether the writing is grounded in a specific person's POV, Supergrow is fine and Oiti is overkill. If you actually use all of Taplio's outbound and automation and have Premium to cover the risk, Taplio is the pick. But if your edge is that your writing reads like a real, specific human, that's the whole game — and it's the one thing neither of these tools is built to protect.

You can find out for yourself in a week.

## FAQ

### Is Supergrow cheaper than Taplio?

Yes, decisively for the AI content. Supergrow is $19 a month on Starter with the AI included, and $39 on Pro. Taplio's $39 Starter doesn't include AI writing — it's scheduling and basic analytics only — and you don't get to write viral posts with AI until the $69 Growth tier. So writer to writer, it's $19 against $69, and Supergrow is roughly a third of the price for the thing most people are buying. At the very top end, Supergrow's Teams tier ($139) and Taplio's $199 Pro buy different things — team scheduling versus outbound and CRM. Both have 7-day free trials.

### Is Supergrow or Taplio safer for my LinkedIn account?

Supergrow, clearly. It publishes through LinkedIn's official APIs with no Chrome extension, so there's nothing in it that can get your account flagged. Taplio's outbound, engagement, and analytics all run through the "Taplio X" extension, using your LinkedIn cookies to automate on your behalf, which violates LinkedIn's terms of service — a client of mine got flagged and restricted for exactly that, Shield Analytics was shut down over the same class of risk in May 2026, and Taplio itself is now banned from LinkedIn, its own company and CEO accounts included. If you don't have LinkedIn Premium to absorb that, don't use it.

### Can I use Supergrow and Taplio together?

You can, but it's redundant for most people — both write posts and both schedule. The only real reason to run both is to use Supergrow for cheap, safe scheduling and carousels while pulling Taplio purely for its inspiration library and outbound. Otherwise you're paying twice for overlapping writing tools. It's cheaper to pick the one that matches your job: Supergrow for cheap and safe, Taplio for all-in-one breadth. And if what you actually want is a single tool that writes in your own POV, running two generic ones side by side doesn't get you there — that's a different problem than either solves.

### Is Supergrow or Taplio better for solo founders and creators?

For most solo creators, Supergrow. It's cheaper, it's ToS-safe, and the carousel maker actually saves you time day to day — which matters more than the breadth Taplio piles on. Taplio only wins here if you're also doing outbound and comment automation and you have LinkedIn Premium to cover the account-flag risk, which most solo creators aren't and don't. But if the thing you actually care about is posts grounded in your own POV, neither one models it — both generate from templated pickers. That's the gap [Oiti fills](/), with long-term memory and a Knowledge Base that ground each draft in your own posts and research, so drafts read like you typed them.

### Is there a better alternative to both Supergrow and Taplio?

For content grounded in your own POV, yes. Supergrow wins on price and safety, Taplio wins on breadth, but both drift generic because neither remembers who you are or looks anything up before drafting. [Oiti, the AI clone for LinkedIn content](/), is built for exactly that gap: long-term memory that compounds every edit you make, plus a Knowledge Base that grounds each draft in your own posts, PDFs, videos, and live ICP research. It's $49 a month on Creator, or $79 on Pro for three personal profiles plus ten company pages on official APIs, with a 7-day free trial and the AI Clone built in about 30 seconds.

### Does Supergrow or Taplio's AI actually sound like me?

Not really — both produce competent first drafts that read generic without heavy editing, because both generate from templated post-format pickers rather than a model of your POV. Taplio's chatbot is a thin wrapper on a pre-AI codebase, with no web search and no persona layer, and Supergrow's output starts repeating hook patterns across topics after a couple of weeks. Editing can rescue any single post, but neither tool learns from the edit, so you're doing the same rescue next time. If you want the output to actually carry your POV, you need a persona layer plus memory underneath the generator — which is what [Oiti's long-term memory and Knowledge Base](/) are for.

## The verdict

Taplio is the better overall tool between the two, because it does more — a 5-million-post inspiration library, outbound, a lightweight CRM, and richer analytics in one platform. But the head-to-head is close and heavily caveated: Supergrow is about a third of the price for the AI content, and it's the only one of the two that's ToS-safe. If you want the deepest all-in-one platform and can absorb the account risk, Taplio. If you want a cheap, safe AI writer plus carousel maker plus scheduler — which is most people — Supergrow.

But if you want posts grounded in your unique POV and voice — remembered and researched, not generic-by-default — that's the gap Oiti, the AI clone for LinkedIn content, fills. The AI Clone builds in about 30 seconds, and you can write the same post in all three before you decide.
